The Archaeological Museum of Sicani Mountains is located in the former convent of the Franciscan Minor Friars, located in Largo Convent No. 1. Since 2009 a German team of the University of Gottingen has surveyed the various archaeological sites in the area, sites that deal with the presence  of the pre Greek civilization with the discovery of the presence of relations between the territory and  the Minoan civilization.

 Today different archaeological sites have been identified.

They have seen the Greek and Roman civilizations with the discovery and identification of the Roman city "Massa Cinciana" which gave its name to the current town of Cianciana.

In the museum it is possible to find  artifacts, from the territories of Alessandria della Rocca, Bivona, Cianciana and Santo Stefano Quisquina.

In addition, there are prehistoric finds, of the Iron Age, the Bronze Age, the greek period, the Roman and Medieval periods.
