A few kilometres from the town centre, in the district bearing the same name, it is possible to visit the archaeological site of Cozzo del Turco.

 The discovered remains allow saying that the settlement started in the Roman period, from the 1st to the 6th Century B.C.. In the same area there is also a Tholos tomb dating back to the 8th Century B.C.

The place is not easy to reach, but it offers a suggestive trip.
